Inspired by driving around Calabria in Italy - a kind of memory of summer can be felt even on cold days in January. The way the trees seem to be waiting, the forests still seem to remember the sunshine and the rain seems temporary. Tobias was trying to capture the essence of this mood with upbeat ambient, playful tunes and dark instrumentals, all built with an unending love of synths, R&B, electro, house and European electronic soundscapes.

"It's very much a personal take - but these were the sounds and melodies in my head while watching silhouettes of sailboats set against stunning seascapes and sunsets with smoke drifting from the still active volcano Stromboli."

These intertwined sparse tunes weave together to form complex layers of melodies and textures onto classic pop structures and experimental breaks.
